Project overview

The study will examine the implementation and impact of a Personalised Adaptive Learning (PAL) programme at scale in Andhra Pradesh (AP), India. Leveraging a unique policy experiment involving 480 schools who are part of the AP government’s efforts to scale up PAL in its schools, we aim to contribute to the What Works Hub for Global Education’s mission of bridging the gap between research and practice in education. Our study will combine rigorous impact evaluation with in-depth implementation science applied to a large, government-led education policy effort at a key stage of the research-to-practice pipeline, addressing critical questions about the scalability of educational technologies in developing countries.
