Tom Dreesen

Implementation Research Fellow (2026)

Tom Dreesen is the Chief, Education Research (OiC) at the UNICEF Office of Strategy and Evidence – Innocenti. At Innocenti he leads the Implementation Research in Education portfolio, which conducts research with governments, UNICEF country offices, and partners in over 25 countries to help inform improvements to large scale education programmes and policies in real time. Prior to UNICEF, Tom has worked in different capacities at the intersection of research and programming for the World Bank, Evidence for Policy Design at the Harvard Kennedy School, J-PAL South Asia, and the International Centre for Climate Change and Development.
