Linda Jones is the Chief of Education at UNICEF Innocenti Global Office for Research and Foresight. She is an education specialist with extensive experience in global education evidence, research, policy development and education programming. She started her career as a teacher and worked as a teacher trainer and curriculum developer. Linda has worked for various International NGOs, UNICEF Country Offices and UNHCR in the field of education in a number of different countries across the world. Prior to her new role in UNICEF Innocenti, Linda led the Education in Emergencies team in UNICEF Headquarters.
Linda currently provides strategic direction and management to a team of 40+ education researchers supporting over 40 countries conducting multi-country, mixed-methods research focused on the reduction of learning poverty.
