Leo Mfura is a Research and Policy Manager at the Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) Rwanda. He joined IPA in 2014 as a Research Associate, advancing to Senior Research Associate in 2016, Senior Policy Associate in 2018, and then Research and Policy Coordinator, before attaining his current role as Research and Policy Manager. Leo has collaborated with professors from some of the world’s most prestigious universities and is now leading policy-relevant partnerships in Rwanda. Prior to joining IPA, he managed research fieldwork for a WASH-research project led by Emory University for two years. He also spent seven years working with various governmental and non-governmental organisations across Rwanda in health and nutrition.
