Veerangna Kohli is a Research Assistant in Public Policy at the What Works Hub for Global Education. Passionate about the practical application of research, she is dedicated to translating rigorous evidence into actionable educational policies.
Veerangna joined the team in August 2023, working alongside Noam Angrist and Elizabeth Stuart to craft the proposal for the What Works Hub for Global Education. Currently, her contributions are central to leading initiatives in Implementation Science in Education, employing rigorous and innovative methodologies to enhance the impact of educational programmes.
Before joining the Oxford team, Veerangna enriched her experience through positions at Collaborative Research and Dissemination in India, where she managed comprehensive evaluations of educational trials, and at RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research in Germany, where she was instrumental in developing research on Value for Money concepts.
Veerangna holds a M.Sc. in Development Economics from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Germany, and a B.A. (Honours) in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi, India.
