What Works Hub for Global Education Policy Fellow (2026)

Ramesh Prasad Ghimire is an Undersecretary in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Nepal. He has completed a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching from Tribhuvan University, Nepal and earned a Post Graduate in Education (Leadership and Management) from Flinders University, Australia. He has about a decade of experience in the area of teacher education, school level curriculum development and education policy and planning. He has served in key educational institutions in Nepal including the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Curriculum Development Center and Teacher Training Centers. He has also worked as a Faculty in Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He has authored a couple of learning resources for school level as well as university level learners. He has also presented papers in national and international conferences. His area of interest includes critical pedagogy, continuous teacher professional development and foundational learning.
