Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Consultant (Palladium)

Danielle Stein is an experienced evaluation, monitoring and learning expert with a particular focus on supporting programme improvement through learning, research and evaluation. She has fifteen years of experience leading long and short-term assignments and has extensive experience developing programme assessment and learning processes in Africa and Asia. Her thematic areas of expertise relate to governance, justice, and accountability, including gender-based violence.

Danielle’s support to programmes has focused on developing flexible and adaptive monitoring and evaluation processes focused on pragmatic and portfolio learning. This work includes extensive experience developing and implementing qualitative research, including immersion-based and people-centered approaches. She is a leading practitioner in the field of theory of change and behaviour-changed oriented programme theory, which was published on in the American Journal of Evaluation.
