Busara Center for Behavioral Economics

Busara Center for Behavioral Economics is a leading research and advisory firm dedicated to advancing and applying behavioural science in the Global South. Busara was founded on the belief that the countries it operates in, as well as the challenges they face, are unique, and deserve development solutions embedded in the local context. Busara is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, with offices in Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and India. Busara partners with a range of organisations across the public and private sectors to carry out research and translate insights into recommendations, whether to drive the uptake of a desired product, influence the design of a programme, or advocate or guide the government in policy change.
