Carolina Better

Carolina Better is a Managing Director at ideas42, where she leads and oversees their Global Development portfolio, including social protection, education, workforce development, and climate & sustainability programs in low-and middle-income countries. Carolina has over 12 years of experience working with underrepresented communities globally, collaborating with partners to design, test, and scale programs and products that use behavioral science to improve their livelihood. Before joining ideas42, Carolina led multicultural consumer research to help brands better understand and engage with underrepresented communities in the U.S. She holds a Master’s degree in International and Development Economics from the University of San Francisco, and two Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Communications, respectively, from Pennsylvania State University.
