Ms. Prameetha Adoni has had vast experience across the Indian education sector in different capacities as a teacher, teacher-trainer and administrator. She has been leading quality education initiatives of the state of Karnataka including the ‘Nali Kali’ – the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) programme and the state’s Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) programme.
She has been an integral part of the learning journey in the state through the ‘Vidyagama’, ‘Kalika Chetarike’ and ‘Kalika Balavardane’ – learning recovery and strengthening programmes by introducing suitable recovery solutions and providing targeted interventions for students with joyful and interactive activities integrated into classroom processes. The programmes were nationally recognised for their design and addressing the learning gap systematically.
Currently the State has implemented the ‘Marusinchana’ programme focusing on bridging learning gaps and enhancing learning amongst around 800,000 middle and secondary school students and ‘Ganitha Ganaka’ programme for 699,705 students from classes 3rd to 5th to create interest among the students in mathematics and attain skills of basic math operations across the 93 aspirational blocks of the state, in collaboration with knowledge partners. Ms. Adoni has been a key resource person in supporting the designing of the programmes, content development and also played an instrumental role in state-wide implementation.
