Cath Elliston

Policy Engagement and Advocacy Manager

Cath Elliston is the Policy Engagement and Advocacy Manager for the What Works Hub for Global Education, supporting governments around the world to generate and use evidence for effective policy design and implementation at scale.

Prior to this, Cath has spent almost a decade working in advocacy, policy engagement and communications most recently in her role as Head of Campaigns for the Jamie Oliver Group. She has also consulted for a range of charities and impact-driven organisations, from the Elton John AIDS Foundation to Tim Berners-Lee’s World Wide Web Foundation, as well as authoring policy reports for think tank Future Advocacy.

She is a proud trustee for Alexandra Rose Charity, which aims to make it easier for everyone to access fruit and vegetables in their local communities through vouchers and social prescription projects.

Cath holds a first-class English degree from the University of Cambridge.
