Programs and Partnerships Director, TaRL Africa

Ashleigh is Programs and Partnerships Director at Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) Africa. She provides strategic oversight of TaRL Africa’s work in 16 African countries. Ashleigh’s work over the last 10 years has centered on scaling up TaRL programmes in Africa. This includes supporting the Ministry of  Education in Zambia to pilot and scale Catch Up; the initiation and scale-up of le Programme d’Enseignement Ciblé (PEC) in Côte d’Ivoire; the catalysing and growing TaRL programming in Nigeria and assisting partners in over 10 other countries to start, grow and improve their TaRL programmes. Ashleigh has particular strength in TaRL programme design, sustainable scaling-up,  research and learning, as well as evidence-based policy and practice. She is a strategic problem solver who can plan and build strong partnerships from diverse backgrounds.

Ashleigh holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Business Science degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town.
