The People’s Action for Learning (PAL) Network is a south-south partnership of 17 member organizations in 15 countries working across Africa, the Americas, and South Asia. Member organiszations conduct Citizen-Led Assessments (CLAs) and learning intervention programs aimed at improving learning outcomes.
Within the What Works Hub for Global Education, the PAL Network, partnering with the REAL Centre at the University of Cambridge, is advancing implementation science through the production of a cost-effectiveness analysis from an equity perspective. This analysis will leverage PAL Network’s data on learning outcomes, which includes insights from children who are outside the formal education system and from marginalized communities.
Additionally, the PAL Network in collaboration with Youth Impact is working to refine evidence-based educational strategies through A/B testing. This methodology involves a cyclical process of testing, learning, adapting, and improving, allowing for rapid, cost-effective, and continuous experiments.
