TJ D’Agostino

TJ D’Agostino, Ed.D. is a member of faculty at the Pulte Institute for Global Development in the Keough School for Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame. His work on the intersection of research, policy, and practice in educational development over 20 years focuses on comparative policy, faith-based schools, early grade literacy, multilingual education, and systems improvement in low- and middle-income countries. His work draws upon various methodological approaches to examine systemic factors to enable policy and practice improvement in foundational skills at scale for marginalized students. His recent work includes large-scale, cross-national studies on language policy, remedial programs, and foundational skill development in a range of African countries. He has extensive experience conducting research, policy, and practice engagements in Latin America and the Caribbean and Sub-Saharan Africa, and targeted engagement in South East Asia, Central Asia, Europe, and Oceana.
