Samuel Kembou

Knowledge and Learning Manager, Jacobs Foundation

Samuel Kembou is the Knowledge and Learning Manager at the Jacobs Foundation. He plays a pivotal role in steering the Foundation toward dynamic learning and co-designing methodologies for measuring impact. Samuel is driven by his passion for data and social science and consistently applies rigorous scientific principles to inform program design and evaluation. 

With over a decade of professional experience, Samuel has worked as an Economist in prominent international organisations and served as a full-time lecturer at the University of Lausanne. He is also a co-principal investigator in large-scale randomised experiments assessing educational interventions in West Africa. 

Samuel holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Aix-Marseille School of Economics and an MSc in Game Theory, Applied Econometrics, and Experimental Economics from the University of Lyon, France.
