Julia Frazier

 Julia Frazier has been working in education for nearly 30 years, both in the US and internationally. With a  background in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), she began as a teacher and teacher educator. For the last 15 years, she has been providing technical leadership and support to a wide variety of projects. Notable projects include the USAID-funded Pakistan Reading Project (implemented by IRC) and the USAID-funded Ghana Learning Project (implemented by FHI 360), both of which were cited as being among the most successful early grade reading projects at scale. She has also remained active in TESOL teacher development as an adjunct in MA TESOL programs in the New York City area and holds current K-12 TESOL teaching certification in New York State. Her professional interests include teacher professional development, language in education, classroom observation, and education systems strengthening.
