GEOP Coordinator, Ghana Education Outcomes Project

Hajia Nana Fatima High is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in the insurance, accounting/finance, consulting, and logistics industries. Her journey is underpinned by a solid educational foundation, including a Master’s degree in Risk Management from St. John’s University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Fordham University. This academic prowess equips Nana with a wealth of knowledge and expertise, enhancing her performance in various roles. 

As the Coordinator for the Ghana Education Outcomes Project (GEOP) at the Ministry of Education, Hajia plays a pivotal role. Her leadership is instrumental in overseeing interventions that reintegrate out-of-school children and enhance learning outcomes in mainstream primary schools. Hajia’s work is a testament to her commitment to improving educational opportunities and living standards for children in Ghana. 

Before her current role, Hajia was a Due Diligence Analyst at the Public Procurement Authority, where she conducted financial due diligence, analysed vital risks, and performed procurement audits to support government entities. Her keen analytical skills and dedication to risk mitigation ensured successful project completions and significant cost savings.   

Nana’s extensive experience includes roles as a Financial Manager at DHL Supply Chain, where she led procurement operations and managed compliance and insurance activities, and as a Business Manager at Hallmark Construction Company, where she was responsible for project management, compliance and procurement documentation. 

Throughout her career, Hajia has demonstrated exceptional project management, risk assessment, internal controls, and team leadership abilities. Her strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach have enabled her to build long-term relationships and consistently meet and exceed aggressive milestones. 

Passionate about education and helping the less fortunate achieve financial independence, Hajia is committed to making a positive impact through her work.  

Hajia is a dynamic, dedicated, and results-oriented professional who continues to leverage her expertise to drive meaningful change and foster educational and financial opportunities for others.
