Doreen Samwel

Curriculum Developer, Tanzania Institute of Education

Doreen Christopher Samuel, is a Curriculum Developer at the Tanzania Institute of Education. She has three years’ experience specialising in developing and designing the curriculum and trying out instructional materials such as textbooks and educational modules of various educational levels. She also conducts in-service training for college tutors and teachers and participates in the research, monitoring and evaluation of curriculums and any other educational activities. Doreen coordinates the BOOST primary learning program, a government initiative funded by the World Bank, which aims to improve the learning environment of public primary schools and enhance teacher competencies and the quality of classroom teaching. Sha has a Bachelor degree in Economics and Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Economics from Mzumbe University.
