Ministerial Panel: Government evidence generation and use to achieve education system goals in times of uncertainty

Join us for a high-level panel featuring education ministers from the Global South – including Brazil, India, South Africa, Ghana, Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire – to discuss how governments can generate and use evidence to improve learning outcomes.

Moderated by Professor Clare Leaver and introduced by the Chief Operating Officer of the Blavatnik School of Government Nick Joicey, the event will explore the role of Education Labs (Ed-Labs), delivery units, and research partnerships in achieving effective and sustainable education reforms. The discussion will cover what works (and what does not) in different country contexts, while unpacking lessons from evidence-use initiatives globally.

The event is hosted by the Master of Public Policy (MPP) students at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, with support from the What Works Hub for Global Education and Jacobs Foundation.
